We are honored to welcome Mike Hess Brewing from San Diego on October 19th, for an evening of beer tasting, education, and socialization along with complimentary “noshing” by Chef Michael Mahalick (details on the noshing below).
Mike Hess Brewing opened in 2010 with a tiny 1.6 BBL system! Hess has grown from brewing just 28 kegs of beer in their first three months to now brewing 30 BBL batches on a consistent basis as one of San Diego’s premier Craft Breweries. Mike Hess Brewing produces high quality and distinctive brews for the craft beer lover and they will join us to share with you some of their amazing creations.
The event will begin at 6pm and will be held outside on our patio for up to 30 participants. The evening is intended as a “tasting/beer class” focusing on the Hess craft creations. Speak with the Hess Representatives as they share these amazing beers and learn about the techniques, styles and craft imparted into the beers while enjoying some tasty bites from Chef Michael. Hess Brewing will present the following beers:

Introduced in cans as of May 2017, Steel Beach Lager is a Smooth American Craft Lager
Nosh: Sour Cream and Onion Tornado Potato
My Other Vice:
My Other Vice is a Berliner Weisse that is Tart and Refreshing with Rotating Subtle Fruit – Pomegranate, Black Cherry or Cranberry and is Slightly Effervescent
Nosh: Shrimp Ceviche

Unbrix Imperial Stout:

The total cost to participate is just $32.28 (base price of $25, tax of $2.28 and gratuity of $5). This includes all the beers listed above as well as the nosh options as presented by Chef Michael. Additional food and beer will be available if you desire at menu pricing; however, no additional purchases are necessary.
