Co-owner and fellow brewer Matt, set out to brew IPAs representative of the love and passion he holds for his three daughters. Matt developed this IPA, and Neal perfected it, to represent the best qualities of little Savannah. The grain bill consists of both American 2-Row and Pilsner. The base malts are complemented by several varieties of Crystal Malts along with some Cara-Pils to ensure good head retention and a beautiful lacing of your glass. The hops are extreme and we start off with a first-wort hopping technique to impart a strong bitterness. Centennial, Columbus and massive quantities of Simcoe round out this decedent beer. Oh, and lets not forget the week long dry hopping to ensure your senses are hop blasted with an erotic craft beer experience.
Dog is man’s best friend and never is this more true then when talking about Angus, Neal’s faithful companion. Neal developed an amazing recipe of American 2-Row, Pilsner, Crystal Malts, Amber Malt and Roasted Barley. An extended boil helps to impart a caramelized flavor and brings out the robustness of the roasted barley. Slight hops for a touch of bitterness and you have a smooth and flavorful brew that is a perfect ode to an unconditional friend.
Our brewery, like many others, began in our garage, kitchen and laundry room (if you can believe that?!). Haboob was one of our first recipes and one of our favorites developed after a lot of experimentation. Black IPAs are truly American and therefore the base malt is 100% American 2-Row. We’ve added plenty of Caramunich Malt, and Carafa with just a touch of Chocolate Malt to create a malt bill that is roasty and toasty. Use of the traditional American “C-Hops” round out this brew with Centennial, Cascade and Columbus. To finish, we hop-back during cast out with Falcon’s Flight 7 C’s.
Our first location in Litchfield Park is a neighborhood favorite and a classic location to make new friends and re-connect with old acquaintances. This brew is named after the location which resides on W. Honeysuckle Street. This light amber is brewed emphasizing a balance between the malts and the moderate bitterness of the hops. Easy drinking and refreshing with a respectable alcohol content, Honeysuckle Street Ale is intended to complement conversation and camaraderie.
Detailed and hand-crafted dedication is an extremely important component of the beers we brew. We crafted this beer to be easy drinking and flavorful. Pale 2-Row base with a touch of Biscuit Malt, some Crystal and Caramunich. We use a unique combination of Cascade, Mt. Hood and Glacier hops to add a slight bitterness. Slightly roasty, and easily drinkable you can pair with a variety of dishes.
Big, robust, toasted, coffee, chocolate and biscuity are all some adjectives that have been used to describe our stout. We combine Black Patent Malt, Roasted Barley, Chocolate Malt, Flaked Oats with an American 2-Row base to create a complex grain bill. We add pounds of Cocoa Nibs at the beginning of the boil to impart more bitter chocolate flavor. We slightly hop with Ahtanum and Galena towards the beginning of the boil to further increase the bitterness and round out this beer. Pours with a dark tan head with moderate retention. We believe you’ll find this as a year round enjoyable beer.
We’ve highlighted the delicious flavors of malt in this classic brew. American 2-Row, Amber Malt, Carared Malt, Crystal Malts and just a touch of wheat round out this beer. We bitter with Kent Goldings and Citra hops to balance the malt profile. Grounded and refined, we intend this beer to provide classic flavors while being smooth and enjoyable.
