On Site Brewery and Gastropub to Open by October, 2015
Peoria, AZ – Peoria Artisan Brewery®, an Arizona Limited Liability Company, proudly announces their expansion to North Peoria with plans to open by October, 2015. The North Peoria location is at the Southeast corner of the intersection of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Deer Valley Road in the Camino A Lago Marketplace. The new 3,000 square foot brewery and gastropub will feature the flagship beers of Peoria Artisan such as Savannah Marie IPA, Haboob™ Black IPA, Angus Boy Scottish Ale and Peanut Butter Porter. The full-service restaurant will feature classic, upscale cuisine emphasizing fresh and local ingredients whenever possible.
“We are extremely excited to open our second location and appreciative of the support we have received from our amazing customers and the Arizona Craft Beer Community,” said Head Brewer and Co-owner Neal Farrell. “We will continue to brew creative and hand-crafted beers to complement our exciting food menu.”
The brewery and gastropub will occupy 3,000 square feet in the Camino A Lago Marketplace adjacent to Lake Pleasant Parkway. The patio will accommodate approximately 50 patrons and provide access to the split indoor/outdoor bar which will feature 18 taps of craft beer and an Arizona centric wine list. The brewery area will include a 5 barrel brewing system (1 barrel = 31 gallons) with the cellar and support capacity to produce approximately 15 barrels of beer a week. The new full-service kitchen will be capable of providing fresh and unique meals to patio and dining area patrons during lunch, dinner and brunch service on Sundays.
Peoria Artisan will continue to operate and brew at The Litchfield Taproom in historic Old Town Litchfield Park. “We have been overwhelmed by the positive response our beers have received in the Southwest Valley and will maintain and evolve our location in Litchfield Park,” says Co-owner Kristina Frosch. “We are equally excited to be able to continue to brew unique and creative beers at the Litchfield Taproom that we can leverage as a pilot system. We think our Southwest Valley customers will appreciate the new beer recipes they will be able to continue to enjoy.”
Construction of the new location will begin in June and is slated for completion by September following the arrival of the brewing system which is scheduled for August. Hiring will commence in August for both hourly and salary positions to include an Assistant Brewer, Restaurant Manager, Chef and craft beer focused Serving Staff. “Our current and future team members are extremely valuable to our craft beer family,” says Kristina. “We are honored to provide great jobs in our local community.”
