Craft Beer in Peoria, Arizona
An independent brewpub on West Lake Pleasant Parkway
A guide to the West Valley's craft beer scene — and what pours from our own twenty taps in North Peoria.
Over the past decade, Peoria and the wider West Valley have grown into one of Arizona's most active craft beer corridors. As the Valley has spread west, independent breweries and brewpubs have taken root along the Loop 303 corridor, and drinkers have followed — trading mass-produced lagers for beer brewed a few miles from home. Peoria Artisan Brewery & Gastropub has been part of that shift since 2013, when it began pouring small-batch beer in the historic town of Litchfield Park before opening its Peoria brewpub in November 2015.
What Is a Brewpub?
A brewpub brews its beer on-site and serves it fresh alongside a full food menu — a step beyond the average taproom. Instead of being trucked across the state, the beer travels from tank to tap in a matter of feet, which is why brewpub pours taste noticeably fresher. Ours runs on a 5-barrel, 155-gallon brewhouse that keeps ten to fourteen house beers on at any time, sharing twenty taps with guest breweries, a rotating hand-crafted cider, and a house-made non-alcoholic root beer for drivers and kids.
What We Pour
The year-round lineup leads with Savannah Marie IPA, a bold West Coast IPA and our flagship, backed by Angus Boy Scottish Ale, Citrus IPA, Push Mower Blonde Ale, and Honeysuckle Street Amber Ale. Seasonal releases rotate through the calendar — an Oktoberfest lager each fall, a Peanut Butter Porter in winter, and warm-weather pours like Ghost Scorpion White IPA and Monsoon Juice, a wheat beer brewed with blood orange. The kitchen keeps pace with a scratch gastropub menu, Sunday brunch, and a weekday Hoppy Hour.
